A carefully orchestrated journey from colonial Quito to the volcanic summits, balancing active exploration and hacienda serenity.

Day 1
Arrival in Quito
Welcome to the capital of the equator. Private transfer to your boutique hacienda-style hotel in the historic district. Evening orientation with Andean welcome cocktail. Settle into the altitude (2,850 m) with a light gourmet dinner.
Day 2
Quito & Acclimatization
Private guided exploration of Quito's UNESCO World Heritage centre: La Compañía Church, Plaza Grande, and the iconic Panecillo viewpoint. Gentle acclimatization walk. Afternoon at leisure to rest or visit local museums. Overnight at a refined heritage property.
Day 3
Rucu Pichincha
Ascend by teleférico (cable car) to 4,100 m, then hike to the Rucu Pichincha summit (4,700 m). Breathtaking views of Quito's valley and surrounding volcanoes. Expert high-altitude guide. Return to the hacienda for relaxation and a therapeutic coca tea ritual.
Day 4
Antisana
Journey to the Antisana Ecological Reserve, home to the majestic Andean condor. Trek along pristine lagoons and paramo wetlands. Observe unique flora and fauna before arriving at a secluded lodge near the volcano's foothills. Stargazing night.
Day 5
Hacienda Pinsaquí
Transfer to the legendary Hacienda Pinsaquí, an 18th-century colonial gem near Otavalo. Afternoon exploration of the estate's gardens, capilla, and optional horseback ride along Andean trails. Evening traditional Andean dinner with local melodies.
Day 6
Cayambe
Drive towards the third highest peak in Ecuador — Cayambe Volcano (5,790 m). Trek through unique high-altitude landscapes and visit the "El Hato" refuge area. Learn about local dairy traditions and enjoy the view of the eternal snows. Return to hacienda for wellness.
Day 7
Hacienda La Ciénega
Arrive at the timeless Hacienda La Ciénega, a 17th-century estate on the Cotopaxi plains. Discover its legendary chapel, colonial courtyards, and fascinating history tied to Simón Bolívar. Afternoon horseback ride or relax with spectacular views of Cotopaxi volcano.
Day 8
Cotopaxi
Full day expedition to Cotopaxi National Park. Hike to the José Ribas refuge (4,864 m) and marvel at the perfectly shaped volcano. Option to trek to the glacier moraine. Picnic with views of the "Shining Peak." Late afternoon return to the hacienda for a celebratory dinner.
Day 9 & 10
Return to Quito · Farewell
Day 9: scenic drive back to Quito with a stop at a traditional rose farm or indigenous market. Farewell dinner at a gourmet restaurant. Day 10: private transfer to Mariscal Sucre International Airport for departure, taking with you the spirit of the Andean summits.
